Do I have to mediate in the same room as my spouse?

No. Two separate rooms can be used. However, mediation is more efficient when all parties (including the mediator) are in the room. I creates an environment of no misunderstandings. The mediator is there to ensure each party stays on task.

What if I change my mind about my agreement after mediation?

Nothing is a done deal until you sign your agreement. Peacemaker Mediation does not have you sign the same day as you mediate like most attorneys do. We present a draft of the agreement the next business day after our meeting for you to review and make changes if you both agree to the change.
